Teamdred’s number one ripper Steve Dyer is flying high at the moment, at Blenheim Palace Wakestock he placed first in the open mens division which secured him a place into the pro qualifiers, then at the second Wakestock in Abersoch he placed tenth against an international field of competitors from the USA and Canada.
This will secure Steve a place in the 2009 Wakestock pro event!! Steve then went on to gain a silver medal in the 2008 british wakeboard national championships in the open mens division.
Keep an eye on this young man as the Teamdred crew have good things planned for him in the future.

February 20, 2008, 8:22 pm : Antigua 2008

Antigua 2008, My friend Jacob and I touched down in Antigua on january the 25th all the way from a very cold and gloomy london or hackney wick to be precise! Our mission was to get our boat running ready for the forthcoming 2008 season, after a few days to acclimatize as the temperature over there is around 25 to 28 degrees and the sea water is like a bath, nice! then we got on with cleaning up boat and engine.
There’re some amazing places around the island to ski and wakeboard with plenty of hidden bays and coves sheltered by palm trees and mangroves and plenty of crystal blue turquoise flat water to ride on.
Antigua also offers over 300 beaches and some great hiking and mounting bike trails so Jake and I brought two cheap bikes and set off one day to find a hidden place called rendezvous bay which is only accessible by bike, foot or a sturdy 4×4!
After all our hard work we would usually go and have a dip at pigeon point beach were they have a great reggae band at weekends and then onto the Mad Mongoose bar for a couple of beers and our regular pool games followed by a great meal from their wicked menu.
Anyone interested in waterskiing, wakeskate, or boarding in Antigua please contact Brett via site or call 07759 474248
